Behind the Vision: Our Upcoming Collection

After launching our first collection in May last year, we are thrilled to announce that our second collection is now on the way! For the past year, our creative process has been the result of a lot of reflection and prayer.

In this collection, we want to focus on the fact that we were perfectly designed to create. Truly, we think that every facet of creativity ultimately comes from the Creator of all things, God, and that we should draw inspiration from His work. One verse that guided us throughout the process was Ephesians 2:10:

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

In other words, we were made by the Creator Himself to produce works that are naturally meant to point towards Him. Our desire is for you, creatives —especially artists and entrepreneurs— to accept this call to create as you were meant to; freely and simply, knowing where your purpose lies.

We hope that you will be reminded of this truth, and inspire others to resonate with it as well, every time you’ll wear our pieces.

From the ultimate Creator

One of the ways in which God intentionally gives us access to Him is by nurturing in us this desire to explore our creative side in various circumstances, which completely changes how we approach our work. In fact, we are called to be more than His creation; rather, we act as co-creators by His side.

This means that whether you’re conceiving an artistic piece or developing a business service to solve problems, focusing on faith in the process or in the message will make a difference. The results may not always explicitly display a faith-based message; however, faith-based creatives will always exhibit a deeper sense of purpose within their work. This sums up the essence of our first piece; an invitation to remind you that you were always created to create in partnership with your Creator.

Prioritize purpose

Now that we understand how our Creator deeply impacts our creative process, we can grasp that this purpose should be a priority over everything else and that it should be our most important motivation when we create. Indeed, God calls us to work according to His image, which means that He desires for us to create from a place of rest instead of hurry. He invites us to create in a way that goes beyond aesthetics, strategy, fulfillment, taste, achievement, and even creativity itself.

While they are still important things to consider, these attributes should not be our main focus. Instead, our purpose rests within a faith-based identity so that we can reflect our faith in Him through each one of our works, rather than seeking validation from others. As we designed the second piece, we knew how easy it can be to get lost in these things and forget what truly matters; that we were created to create with a defined purpose.

We hope that this encourages you to create with purpose on a daily basis while remaining connected with your Creator. Surely and simply guided by His Vision.

More to come soon,
